Recording sets and ilumination.
Hi everyone! Today's blog post is going to be about recording sets and the difficulties I've had in the process.
Finding a recording studio was quite difficult, to be honest, it was really hard. At first, I thought about renting a house with all the places I would need, but the truth is, it's very expensive and nothing has really convinced me. I searched on several sites like Airbnb, Vorvo, and Peerspace, and I didn't find anything.
Finally, I decided I'm going to film in several locations for the dinner scene. It'll be in my dining room since the aesthetic is perfect for the dinner shots. Then I have a shot of the stairs when Chiara is coming down; I'm going to film at a friend's house that has some perfect ones. For the shooting shot, I'm going to use my garage. The only problem is the set for Chiara's room since I can't find anything I like or that convinces me. But oh well, I'll think of something. The idea I liked the most so far is using my room, but I'm not completely convinced.
For the lighting, I want a warm, not too harsh light that's calming and comfortable. And during dinner, I want the light to change to a cooler tone so the distance between the characters is more noticeable.
