Recording the project
Hello blog! Today we finally started filming the project. We started getting ready at 5 pm. Several of my friends came to help me film. The camera operator for this project was Clara Errazuris; she was also the hairstylist for all the actresses. She loves doing hair and she's really good at it. Then my aunt and uncle arrived. My aunt was going to play Chiara's mom and my uncle was going to play Marcos's dad. Clarisa, who was going to play Marco's sister, and Jose, who was going to play Marcos, also arrived. Then Clara and I started doing everyone's makeup and hair. First, Clara did their hair and then I did their makeup. We had a problem with my dad, who didn't like what I was wearing. I told him to put it on, but in the end, he wore it anyway, so it doesn't matter. For my aunt and dad's costumes, since they were going to be Chiara's parents, I told them to wear black because I was going to be wearing black, and I asked my uncle and mom to wear blue and white to contrast the families. At first, my mom was going to play Chiara's mom, but she doesn't know English, so in the end, my aunt played the role to make it easier. We started filming at 6 pm, and it was super fun; I really enjoyed it. Things kept happening during the process, and it was very interesting to hear everyone's suggestions. We had to reshoot some scenes several times, and some we did multiple times to get them right. I think my favorite scene so far is the argument between Marcos and Chiara. Well, here's a behind-the-scenes video. It's in Spanish because it's my native language, but it's still fun.
XOXO,Isabella Fraire.
